We have decided to create a Developers Blog, for , to give an easier to read list of our announcements, as well as comments by the development team on why certain choices were made.

Many of the announcements will also be posted on to our as well as the blog. What will be unique to the blog is the reasons why certain choices were made, as well as discussions about where we got some of our inspiration.

If you've ever wondered why a mud developer makes the choices they make, and where they get their idea's this is your change to find out!

Have you considered including a weekly progress report as well? It's pretty useful for players who want to catch up on things they've missed, lets the players know that development hasn't stagnated, and is also rather useful for looking up when a particular feature was implemented or changed.

Most muds will list recent major updates, but it's rare to see a complete and regular rundown of changes, particularly one that can be tracked back over years of mud development.

We have been doing weekly announcements(which will not also go to the blog) listing what we have finished in the past week. We don't go into much detail nor do we list every little thing, but normally it is something like "finished X, started Y, 50% done with Z."

It might be a good idea to do a list like that, if I can find the time to write up that much.
