Lusternia's newly implemented library system allows the main player organizations to compete for cultural prestige. From among the writings and essays that players contribute to the Great Libraries, some are chosen to be published and some entered into literary contests. The larger and more prestigious libraries generate power for the cities and communes in which they reside. Thus, players who enjoy the roles of writers, poets and scholars may contribute to the world in a tangible way.
