iMud
I came across this while surfing the internets:
It's a MUD client some gentleman named November (odd parents, apparently) created, and it runs natively on the iPhone. Not having an iPhone, I can't test it out, but damn, that would ruin my life. |

Re: iMud
I don't think that someone can enjoy playing MUD via IPhone or Smartphone. It's a little bit difficult typing on a Smartphone even if you have a keyboard. Especially in a combat with group of your friends. I tried and I wasn't impressed. I got Nokia E60. |

Yeah, I can't imagine it'd be too great. Still pretty cool. I could see using it to log on and chat with people. Maybe people will eventually even make smart phone interfaces for MUDs.
Also, I realize that I was wrong about this guy creating it. He seemingly just got it to compile on the iPhone (still cool, but not as cool). |

Re: iMud
Yep, it's cool to chat with people, but it's not too cool to play

Re: iMud
Are those rollout bluetooth keyboards available for the iphone yet? That could be interesting. No real interest in mobile browsing per se but I seem to find myself traveling to places with no net access.
There is also an ssh interface for the iphone so that could be good for site maintenance while I'm away and connecting to a shell account to mud on tintin++ without having to put all my settings into yet another client. |
