Mud client advice
Greetings. I am searching for online mud client or client that works without installation (like JMC), because I play from work. I also want it to have ANSI support and option to set up keybinds and aliases!

Re: Mud client advice
Check out mudportal.com, you can connect to _any_ mud with it, with your account you can have aliases/triggers etc as well. plamzi makes it, great guy has given a ton to the community. It also has MCCP/MXP support for 'click' links in code if the games support it.

Re: Mud client advice
Definitely, you can see it in action on our site if you want to fiddle.
But to use Triggers/Aliases etc you'll want to log in at Mudportal.com first (accounts are free). |

Re: Mud client advice
If you have a thumbdrive, I think you can move Mudlet to your thumbdrive and run it straight from there. But I'm assuming you can insert the thumbdrive on your work computer.

Re: Mud client advice
Mudportal and TMC both work.
On TMC you need to find the mud you want to play then it logs you in using flash. If you ever play Ateraan at you can play from the javan client that also has special features for playing from work where you play from your browser and have features that make the game look like notepad or another form of document. Find that here: An example of playing on TMC is here: Or here to find the game you want: |

Mudlet might work, it doesn't need admin rights to install.
