ForgottenMUD - now stable host. Come hunt bugs.
Report bugs to me i/g or post them on the Suggestions & Bugs forum. I'm always online in the evening. Dragon coins can be spent to buy magical items. My goal is to fix all reported bugs within 24h, but please keep in mind that it only counts if I can reproduce them.
Reward:I might lower the rewards if too many bugs are found. People who don't want to play but want to help a bit can fill the following form (even answering just 1 question is helpful):Don't post your answer here, post on the ForgottenMUD forum: No registration required until spam bots find it. Oh here is more information if any one is interested. So far only "bug" was a very minor one with the download of the client. I unzipped the client and started it up. Somethings did not work for example the map did not update, the font wouldn't change and nothing was clickable. I will also post that on the forum. But a simple delete and re-unzip has fixed it.

I am on a Mac OS X v. 10.7.5. If mudlet does not work - which is by far one of the best client around - how can I try you Mud, please? I think you only provide .exe for Windows.

I don't think that Mudlet is one of the best clients around. It cannot connect to MUDs that don't accept its protocols. This has been for months.

I had a restriction 1 account per IP so MudPortal couldn't connect. But I've lifted it earlier today so now MudPortal works.

It sends unsolicited GMCP. Easy to fix, though, especially in a modern language like you're using. If you don't support GMCP, just check for '\xff\xfa\xc9' in the string and then strip everything between '\xff\xfa\xc9' and '\xff\xf0'.
