[Newworlds]

One of our players named James Prosser from England died in the Middle-East conflict several years ago. He was a beloved player whose character became the Commander of the Garrison in Gahlen. Every year players have done in character events during Memorial day to celebrate James' character and a memorial was built in the game for him.

Just recently a player joined the game who grew up with James and was kind enough to get us in touch with his Mother. We told her about the ceremonies each year and that it would be nice to do something for her in the game. She has never heard of MUDs but knew her son was an avid fan of Ateraan. Through some communication and discussion we have setup a special event where his Mother will attend as a special character.

Here is the Game information on the event: The Ceremony of Commander Rathar played by the Soldier James Pressor who died in 2009 during the Middle East conflicts. This event has been very important for the players of Ateraan. Each year he is remembered fondly by fellow players in and on April 19th 2020 a special memorial is taking place as a special event for his relatives.

The event is coming up a week from Sunday so I added the new invite that shows some more detail of the player and his mother. She is very excited to be part of this event.
