| Welcome to the Lands of Light and Darkness. Seven months ago, an adventure began that will never end. People have fought, explored, discovered quests, lived the life of a powerful hero or a quiet craftsperson. They have found paths to new cities and new lands; they have found new skills, spells, and crafts, and the future holds much more. Some choose the Light. They have an easier path of it. Those lands are stable, and ruled by law. Some choose the Darkness. They choose a harsh home, where the only laws are made by those around them. We expected the Light to have the roleplay, and the Darkness to be hack and slash, and PvP. The Darkness has surprised us with its roleplay, and the degree that players help one another, but still, each land has a feel of its own. If one does not suit you, the other may. Fighting is, as always, a sure way to advance. But, there are a multitudeof other ways. Buy a ship, large or small, and sail to far-off lands. Find a gemstone, carve it, and set it into jewelry. Learn embroidery, the craft that has daunted many a proud warrior. Study many other crafts; you'll learn from them. Heal the injured. Sit in town square and gab. Don't arrive expecting to find familiar gameplay. The chances are high that you'll have to revise your expectations. You'll find other people ready and eager to help you, though, and there's plenty of room for your name in the history books! We've created a unique blend of fantasy and realism here.
