Akashat - MUD Description | |
Between the Euphrates and the Tigris river, in this portion of the world known as the craddle of humanity, there is a legend rumored at night when children are asleep. It tells the tale of the ever elusive City of Akashat, nestled in its lost Vale between high mountains. The city moves, floating from one end of the desert to the other, never twice at the same place. Dreams are the only way to access the city and one can find oneself trapped forever. Soon, those trapped organized a system of government, three classes, the Masters, who ruled, the Citizen, who usually run businesses, and the slaves, used and abused, cared and pampered by the other two classes. One trapped dreamer, who had the most powerful dreams, found out how to send other dreamers back, to invade people in the outside world's dreams and harvest whatever they could find in these, be it riches, goods or souls. The Grand Vizir now rules over Akashat, aided by a Conclave of Princes, and opposed by a dark dreamer: The Crimson Cardinal. Come dream with us in the elusive city, where all dreams are welcome. |
