Wonderland is a family oriented mud. There are several chat lines, common language, so all players are able to be heard on the chosen line. Wonderland has been around for many years, but a recent slew of new wizards has put a fresh look and feel into this MUD. Player Killing is optional, and only the rare player chooses to do so. Without exception, all highler level players are willing to help newer players get a base in the game. There are seven guilds in this MUD. Adventurer (No guild) Mages, Fighters, Thieves, Priests, Druids, and Necromancers. Each of these guilds has unique abilities, and all seem reasonably balanced. Walking through Wonderland, you will quickly notice that the MUD has two attributes: There are no spelling errors, and the use of ANSI color characters is present, but not overbearing. The quests in Wonderland range from those solvable by players less than an hour old, to some that would give the mightiest players trouble. There is a varying degree of combat to puzzle solving, with quite a few quests that involve no combat at all. Wonderland has a playerbase that spans the globe, so there is no 'dead time' in the MUD. Your chances of meeting another online player do not decrease in the wee hours of the night, because it is afternoon somewhere else. |
