Greetings and welcome, traveler, to Archaeon. A mysterious and dark land, shrouded in mystery. Once inhabited by the Myesyats, a race of super-intelligent parasites, the world of Archaeon was cultivated by the Myesyats as a source of food for their unending hunger. Their plan, however, backfired. The races that they implanted upon Archaeon were intelligent, and learned of the designs of their world's founders. They revolted against their fates, and rose up to defeat the Myesyats. Now, centuries later, civilizations have been founded, enhanced, destroyed. The cycles of time have continued, and the world is quiet with the activity of the races. Until now. Unrest has been growing, and the people of Archaeon are uneasy with the silence of their world... Founded by Keridan and Nikolai, and a host of builders, Archaeon: The Third Age has been in the process of development since early June, 2005. A completely original world coupled with the modified Forsaken Lands source code creates an interesting and exciting new adventure everytime you log on. 14 classes and 19 races with unique skills and spells, along with optional "quest" races and classes, allow for numerous experiences, and unlimited replay value. Various quests are already in place, with more being added daily, creating an interactive venue for the non-sociable player. Enforced roleplay and restricted playerkilling as a way of life create a combined environment where instead of verbally abusing your killer, you can marvel at the prestige of their RP and PK.
