Perished Lands - MUD Description | |
This is the story of The Perished Lands... In the last few days before the 'Great Destruction'... The Society of the Great Noble King Jenzerey ruled over all the continents and water ways from north to south and east to west. A mission created by the mighty King sent a team of alchemists to the center of the world to discover what creates the fire that boils out of the large cavernous craters near Jenzerey Castle... They were not successful...Instead... A large fireball erupted from the center of the world and destroyed all the lands including the Noble King's castles. There was nothing left for anyone. After the 'Great Destruction'... Races emerged from the biological disasters, some were morphed and others were spawned all growing powerful each in thier own ways. Cities were built but chaos ruled the lands. Each city elected an elder, and built a city in the center of all cities called Tailomia. A dark evil spread over the land as the elders of Tailomia became corruptable and desperate. The mages of all the cities plotted to destroy the council as they learned of what was happening. In time all the elders were slain, with magic, created by a young and powerful mage whose name we now know as Hujunie. The elders were transformed into powerful religious leaders that are now worshipped by all through out the perished lands... Hujunie, for his crimes against the races, was sent into the Abrican Abyss where he serves the underlords and powers of darkness. The Council of Deities, is in the heart of Tailomia as it was in the days preceding the insurrection. The Natural City of the Gods... It is with this, that the struggles of evil versus good, and the perils that take place with such a conflict rage within our world to this very day. |
