Astria Mud Creator/Client
Hello. I posted before about my game Astria which was gearing to be a sandbox mud.
I took a break for a few months and the other day decided to simply release the server/client/editor of the game to users. Website: 'Play' has a download link with a zip file. It's all pretty basic at the moment I hope to evolve it if there's any feedback or if its used at all. |

Re: Astria Mud Creator/Client
A couple of questions come to mind after looking over the website.
1) What language is the engine written in? 2) Are "events" scripted in language, or purely soft-coded with OLC interface? A mixture of both? Does the OLC allow for creation of unique skills/spells/etc without scripting or programming? 3) Is there backend documentation to support the engine? It looks neat, and I like the idea of designing it to be easy-to-use and with an emphasis on GUI. |
