ok...it made it past THAT error...
chmod g+w smaug chmod; changing premissions of 'smaug' ; No such file or directory.
I dont know what this is and I am starting to get irritated. Now its making a smaug.exe file in the SRC folder. It doesnt work at all, so I have no clue what it is doing. |

I've got no idea what that is either. Why did you try to make the file 'smaug' group-writable? Didn't you say that the file was named 'smaug.exe', and not 'smaug'? How does the smaug.exe not work? Do you know how to run the mud normally? I believe there's usually a startup script. What error does the startup script give? We need a little more to work with... |

the smaug.exe calls up for a .dll file (the one in src) This is the first time its made smaug.exe in the src file. The startup script starts the mud up fine.

I think I fixed the chmod g+w smaug error. I hid the file extention (.exe) and it now says
make[1]; 'smaug' is up to date.
|
