Introduce Yourself

Yep, Ive been lurking here for a while, and with the closing of Evarayn, Ive been forced into the light to quest for another MU*. My first text game experience (not a real MU* though) was LOTGD. Legend of the Green Dragon, a browser based text RPG based off of the old text game LORD (legend of the red dragon). Soon after that I also played UD (urban dead) for a while, which was another browser based text game (not really that much text though, more like maps). Evarayn was my first real MUD, and other than it I have only dabbled in Achaea, so my total MUD experience is only about 1.5-2 years.

I'll post a thread talking about what Im trying to find in a MUD in just a few minutes, but really wanted to introduce myself to ya'll first! Glad to meet a large community of gamers who love text games, and know that graffix dont make the game, the RP and gameplay does!

What happened to Evarayn? I thought that was a fairly established MUD!

Hello and welcome! I'm sorry to hear about Evarayn closing it's doors. I'll be eternally lost somewhere in the woods now.

Welcome Doctor Eeeeeeeeeveeeeeeeeeel!

It was very established, but had a very low player base, and the exspense was too much I suppose.

Also, thanks for the welcomes!
