If you're aware of Nick Yee's ongoing , you'll want to know that he's put out some new analysis. Now granted, his methodology is flawed insofar as he's posting polls online and getting 2-4k MUD players to answer, thus creating a self-selecting audience, but his results are still worth thinking about.

A summary of some of the latest results:
1. PvP is favoured by a younger demographic than PvE.
2. 22% of respondents said they'd purchased virtual gold on the black market.
3. 1 in 6 has military experience.
