MUD Announcements

It is with great pleasure and pride that I would like to inform you that the Shadows of Isildur MUD has amicably resolved its legal differences with Tolkien Enterprises, and will continue to provide an unsurpassed, high-quality and completely free Tolkien-based roleplay environment to the community into the indefinite future.

I will officially re-open our player port [aman.middle-earth.us (69.44.60.203) port 4500] to the gaming public tomorrow, Saturday 31st July, at 12 noon Pacific Daylight Savings Time. I look forward to seeing all of you again, and sincerely hope that you will enjoy your travels through Tolkien's Middle-earth once more.

Best,
Traithe

Congratulations on working things out with Tolkien Enterprises! I was saddened to hear about the problems that cropped up, but I'm thrilled to see it coming together for you and your players.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks, Brody. That definitely makes two of us. <g>

Congratulations, I'm sure that must have been a difficult and nerve-wracking task. I am very glad to see you back online.
