Star Wars: Reach of the Empire hosts an open house on Sunday, Oct. 20, starting at 1 p.m. ET. We'll hold multiple seminars about the game and our in-game systems, such as HSpace, FUDGE skills and the +org system. The open house will culminate with an OOC battle in space between dozens of Z-95 starfighters, TIE fighters and a star destroyer.

You will not be required to have a full-fledged character to participate. We'll be open for everyone!

During the open house, I'll be announcing three new alien races that will become available to players on Sunday. But, if you can't make it to the open house, I'm scheduled to be on Radio Sci-Fi in Orlando at 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning. You can reach Radio Sci-Fi through a link at our main website, and hear the show on live streaming audio, starting at midnight Eastern time. During my appearance on the show, I plan to reveal those alien races!

Introduction to HSpace Trueline 4.2.1
Introduction to Econ
Preparing An Application
Valuable Star Wars Resources[/list]Those will be followed by two demonstrations: Consent vs. PK combat and HSpace - we'll be turning players loose against each other in TIE fighters and a star destroyer against squadrons of Z-95 Headhunters.

New players who sign up during the open house will receive enough IC money to purchase a YT-1300 freighter.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our open house! We had a great time - from a battle pitting about a dozen non-Force characters against Darth Vader, Ben Kenobi and Yoda (and, wow, did the Jedi do a number on their attackers) to several rounds of space combat between TIE fighters and Z-95 Headhunters (Nice work, Z-95 squadrons! ).

We also announced three new races available for players: Aqualish, Quarren and Devaronian!

We'll hold another open house in early 2003. Stay tuned!
