Heeere, coder-coder-coder-coder; here, coder, nice coder. C'mere.

C'mon, what - do we have a deadly, communicable disease that we don't know about? We've had no responses to this. Which is ridiculous; I know there's lots of coders out there.
So why aren't any of you replying?

There aren't *that* many PennMUSH coders out there, and the pool of available MUSH coders is pretty well occupied. It's going to take time to recruit. Be patient and don't sound so desperate.

Oh. Okay; if I'd known that, I wouldn't have posted the way I did. I was under the impression that there were lots of coders out there.

If you want your game to go anywhere, buckle down and learn to do it yourself.

It sucks at first, but in the long run you'll be glad you did. We would've been dead in the water a LONG time ago if I hadn't.

Edited to add: Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure if I can name a successful MU* that wasn't started by a coder, or at least someone who did their best to learn along the way. Anyone? <headscratch>

We are doing it ourselves. It's just that we know very, very little of coding and we'd be happier if someone who knew what they were doing did the work.
