Okay, here goes, one last time.
I'm looking for a MU* anything with intensive roleplay, set in modern day anywhere, where I can train in magic. Those are the only things I'm asking here. Any takers? |

My advice is to take a look at World of Darkness mu*'s. There may be other mu*'s that meet your criteria, but WoD is going to be the biggest catch-all search.
Seriously, use the search button. It's awful helpful. |

Spare me the sarcasm. I've been using the search button for the last 2 months. As for World of Darkness, it's not rollplaying I want, but actual roleplaying.

![]() You might want to try Awakened Worlds. It's based on the Shadowrun RPG system. It's not, however, modern day, it's set 60 years in the future, but still quite contempory. You can train in magic, 3 seperate schools, Hermatic, Shamanic and Somatic. Hermatic's believe magic can be controlled via scientific methods, Shamanic through nature, and Somatic through use of the body (They're more magically augmented martial artists than "wizards" though).
There is also a large selection of races and subraces to pick. You can check out the website at or just connect directly at |

Talk about close-minded bigotry. There are quite a few WoD mu*'s that ignore numeric statistical systems all together... WoD simply represents, to many mu*'s, a world, actual system ignored. Obviously, though, you don't care. You're too happy with your ignorant beliefs. No wonder you've had no luck.
