Intrigued by a consistent, quality roleplaying environment? A game that
never ceases to evolve? Realms of Discordia seeks to offer both, and even
more for you! Also, for those who enjoy both combat and roleplay, some good
news: There will be a double-experience day on Sunday, October 1.

We feature a large game world, regulary ran quests, races varying from the
regular humans to beings such as the ficques, haitorin, and so on.  Classes
ranging from warriors and assassins to shadowlords and invokers. Two kingdoms
with baronies, positions offering a chance to become the royalty.  Religions
that in addition to roleplaying opportunies, also grant their more loyal
followers various unique abilities as a reward for their zealousness.

I'd also like to add that there are currently opportunities for power in all
areas for those who are intrigued by such. In addition, we have a few quests
and plots going on right now, ran both by the administrators and the mortals.

Some random facts:

-- We'll have a double-experience day on October 1, Sunday.  This rewards both
combat and roleplay! :-)

-- The game is eight years old.  However, I believe we still offer the proper
environment for those who like the 'homey' feeling.  Also, new players are not
excluded at all from roleplay, rather, they're welcomed.

-- RP is literally rewarded.  You can level purely by RP, if you wish, with
the aid of automatic system, and immortal granted awards.  Also, with RP points,
you can purchase customized equipment.

-- Combat system was recently redone, and classes balanced even further.

-- Level range is 1-100+infinite.  You can continue leveling indefinitely after
'heroing'.

-- Classes are: warrior, berserker, templar, monk, mystic, sorceror, invoker, psion,
thief, assassin, and shadowlord.

-- Races are: Beastkin: Haitorin, Ficques, Lacerti, Vermin, and Wolfen.
Demi-Human: Centaur, Drider, Naga, and Wemic.
Dwarven: Duregar, Gnome, Hill Dwarf, and Mountain Dwarf.
Elven: Drow, High Elf, Sea Elf, and Wild Elf.
Humanoid: Efreet, Human, Jinn, and Spiritfolk.
Nymph: Dryad, Nymph, Siren, and Sylph.
Sylvan: Aeril, Faerie, Faerie Dragon, and Satyr.

Just a reminder, Realms of Discordia celebrates its eight anniversary today, with
a double-experience day, and a major quest(s) of current storyline.  So, do come
by and check it out!  =)

After conferring with the online playerbase this afternoon, the next
portion of the game-wide quest will occur at:

Sunday October 1st, 5:00 PM EST (game time)

This serves many purposes.  If you have no idea what this quest is about,
you'll probably be neck deep in the rp for it by then, simply because it
will involve you.  (Unless you choose not to, which is fine, but it will
still affect you.)

Something else?  Sunday, October 1st is RoD's 8th anniversary!  

So this means double experience points all day.  I didn't plan the quest to
coincide with that, mostly because I don't pay attention, but it happens to
fall on the same day...so that's even more reason to get off your lazy butts
and get on your lazy butts and play!
