The Artisan skill mainly deals with the crafting of furniture, though they can also make such items as containers and smoking pipes. Players in artisan cartels can develop their own furniture designs, from chairs and desks to chandeliers and thrones. Some furniture has uses beyond what might normally be expected.

Also, two new knighthood specializations entered Lusternia: Pureblade and Axelord, both containing over 20 individual skills each. Pureblade is the mastery of the two-handed sword, such as a claymore or katana. Axelord is the mastery of the two-handed axe. Also, 4 races in Lusternia (dwarf, igasho, krokani and orclach) gained a new racial advantage of 'native weapon', allowing them greater accuracy when using specific weapons.
