![]() Mythic Shores MUD is a unique and exciting RPI game based around three great civilizations in the Mediterranean Sea during the final hundred years B.C.E. Cultures and playable areas include the mysterious Island of Atlantis, the bustling trade center of Alexandria, Egypt including the Great Lighthouse and Library, and the ever-growing and conquering Roman Empire, with the famed and brutal Colosseum. Currently, Mythic Shores is still in development (we are not open at this time), but we have been working for over a year with a mix of the Diku-based Shadows of Isildur RPI Engine, and the newly released Argila with LUA scripting.
Our game is seeking builders and other individuals to join our team. If you would like to apply to be part of the administration or staff as a builder, coder, historian, or just someone full of ideas, please submit an e-mail containing: * Name * Age * Location * Previous Admin/Gaming Experience --what games, how long, specific characters if applicable-- * Skills or Expertise * Position or Areas of Interest --if you specifically do or do not wish to take part in some aspect of the game, which civilization you would prefer to work with or not work with-- * Time Dedication --how many hours per week you are available to train or participate-- * Writing Sample --rooms or mobiles preffered; please do not submit works in current use on other games-- * Bio & Summary --tell us about you, why you're interested in Mythic Shores, what made you apply, what special qualities you can bring to our staff-- No previous experience in building or game adminship is required, however, we are seeking serious and interested applicants only. In hiring, we look for mature individuals with the ability to work well independantly, resolve problems through logic or researching solutions, solid team-players that get along well with current staff, and ability to perform duties in a timely manner. All applicants are considered and reviewed thoroughly. If your application is accepted, you will be asked to participate in an interview. Please send applications or questions to: For more information, please visit our site: |

Hey there. Not trying to take away from your advertisement at all. But if things don't work out with your RPI, I am running one with the same codebase, (believe we spoke briefly on Argila forums). Anyways, the point of my post is to wish you good luck with the mud, and if you ever abandon the project, you may have a spot with staff at my project.
Good luck again, the setting looks sound, and I know if you get the right staff you can make it work, you seemed fairly knowledgable from the argila forums. -D |
