Toril dates back a couple decades. I have been playing since 96 or so, back when it was Sojourn 2.
I could go on about incarnations and mergers but the simple fact is, this mud has done everything right and they are constantly working to improve and expand. The staff are supportive and listen to good ideas.
I have tried several other muds and WoW, Toril rocks.
Torilmud.org for the forums and Torilmud.org port 9999 to log on and play.
Word to the wise, a restatter has recently been implimented, dont spend time rolling for good stats, take the first roll and restat once you're in. Help restat. Also, use the name generator, you can always request a new name from a god when they have time, just petition, like any good RP game, names must fit the theme.
