A new version of the Merentha MUDlib is now out.
The Merentha MUDlib was created under MudOS_v22.2b12 which is included in the download. It has only been tested by myself with this driver under Linux. The version number is 1.2.0-A and contains many fixes over the last release. A lot of work will still need to be done before you have a fully functional MUD ready for a large player base (read the TODO file to see whats missing) but quite a few things have been improved and changed since the last release. Originally I was not going to release a new version until I had all those TODO things complete but with the little time I have to put into it it would be well over a year before it all got done. Some of the features include: - full ansi support - a completely new skill system - easilly configured for classless or multi-classing - detailed character customization - timed combat and spell rounds - sample spells and abilities - many more admin commands - much more documentation - a lot of bug fixes The mudlib can be downloaded from Questions about the MUDlib, or some help can be obtained by emailing _Petrarch |
